Sabumnim Mattheos is a fourth Degree Black Belt under Grandmaster Shin in Hapkido. He is also a fifth Dan Black Belt under Grandmaster J. R. West. Sabumnim John Mattheos is a third Dan in Tae Kwon Do under Richard Chun.

Sabumnim Mattheos started in 1974, still training, and teaches Hapkido and Tae Kwon Do. He had thirty years of Martial Arts Training. Started in 1974 in Pankration Spartan Warrior Fighting.

1979 to Present: Tae Kwon Do training under Richard Chun.

Started practicing Hapkido in 1991 to present day under Grandmaster Shin and later, Grandmaster J.R. West.

Mattheos has had practiced in Gun Removal Techniques, stick and knife fighting and sword fighting.

Sabumnim John Mattheos has attended numerous seminars in all aspects of Martial Arts. He holds Legitimate ranks under well known Grandmasters and has contributed in the Martial Arts World.
